Trainers are responsible for claiming preference dates and weight allowances at time of entry.

Trainers, when entering, are cautioned to check carefully as to the eligibility and allowances claimed.  Under OHRC Rules of Racing, the trainer and owner are responsible for the weight his horse carries.

A horse must be eligible for the conditions of a race at time of entry and at time of starting.

An effort will be made by the racing office to check eligibility and weights, however, responsibility for correct information and eligibility remains strictly with the trainer.

The starters for a race shall be determined by lot in the presence of bonafide horsemen and a Steward or Stewards designee.  The post positions shall be in the order in which they are drawn with consideration for scratched horses.

The same method shall be employed in determining the starters and post positions in the races that are divided.

No entry will be received except upon the condition that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the race or with respect to the interpretation of the conditions of any race shall be decided by the Stewards.

Watch your condition book for entry days. No advance entries will be accepted. Alternate distances will be written as an extra.

ENTRIES WILL CLOSE AT 10:30 A.M.

A horse must be entered prior to the close of entries to be eligible for the draw for post positions.

The management and the Board of stewards at Choctaw Blue Ribbon Downs may cancel any race card for any given cause deemed necessary and may reschedule at their discretion.

In all Stakes, Handicaps, and Nomination races, ENTRIES MUST BE MADE THROUGH THE ENTRY BOX by the closing time of entries for that race.  BEING PAID UP FOR SUCH RACE DOES NOT GUARANTEE ENTRY.  Qualifying for the finals for such races does not guarantee entry; finalist and consolation horses must pass the entry box.

Oklahoma-bred races which receive less than seven (7) single betting interests, may be opened to non Oklahoma-bred horses and taken as an Oklahoma-bred preferred race.
