BHA and ITV make changes to guarantee free-to-air racing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Lingfield

Ascot’s Clarence House card and the Peter Marsh Chase fixture at Haydock are scheduled to be the main events of the ITV main channel coverage. However, there is concern that wintry conditions may affect turf racing across Britain. In response, the BHA has taken steps to fill any potential gaps in the race schedule. Unfortunately, the Market Rasen fixture has also been cancelled. Channel bosses are now considering the jumps card at Navan as a potential second meeting to complement the Lingfield action, in the event that all British jumps meetings are called off. This would result in a three-hour program, featuring races from Fakenham, Lingfield, and one race from Ireland.
