Rugby League Star Rob Burrow Excited to Support Charity Racing Club
The ex-Leeds Rhinos star and his wife, Lindsey, were recently honored with two donations during an event in North Yorkshire. Each cheque was worth £7,777, in tribute to the number seven shirt he wore in his playing days. One donation was from the proceeds of membership sales of the Rob Burrow Racing Club, and the other was from Black Sheep Brewery, which had launched a special Burrow’s Blonde beer in 2023.
The Good Racing Company, established by racing enthusiast Phil Hawthorne, has raised over £185,000 for Burrow and MND charities through the sale of Rob Burrow Racing Club memberships. Burrow and his wife Lindsey expressed their excitement at becoming patrons of The Good Racing Company and the opportunity to shape its future. They mentioned that their involvement in the racing community and the support from both existing and new fans has been inspiring.
