Matt Rennie’s Three Horse Racing Tips from Hexham, Ffos Las, and Pontefract on Monday
The horse, trained by Peter Bowen, has achieved three wins at Ffos Las. Last week, jockey Sean Bowen secured a hard-earned victory with relative ease.
Despite the expected testing ground conditions, the horse is adaptable and has shown success in various conditions. Although carrying a 7lb higher weight than the previous week, the horse might capitalize on the current form while the jockey is also in good form.
Having won by a considerable margin last year, the horse has not been able to replicate that success but has displayed strong performances in defeats. A recent third-place finish at Doncaster indicates promising form.
The horse maintains the same mark as the previous race and the trainer, Haslam, has an impressive 50 per cent strike-rate in the past two weeks. Another horse, trained by Catch Bissett, secured its only win over the course and distance in 2022 and has subsequently achieved placings at the track.
The horse has shown satisfactory form with two placings in the last three starts at Ayr and has been allotted a 1lb reduction in its mark following the latest race. The horse is currently 3lb below its previous winning mark and has a successful partnership with jockey Bruce Lynn.
