‘Dontyawantme le da a Craig Lidster su primera victoria en saltos en una carrera de categoría’ – Racing Post
Lidster had a career-best season last year, with 26 winners on the Flat and three all-weather winners already this year. The North Yorkshire-based trainer achieved his first win over jumps with Dontyawantme, who held off the challenge of Lunar Discovery. Lidster mentioned having a couple of bumper horses coming through and is considering entering Dontyawantme in a Listed race at Doncaster.
Looking ahead to the start of the turf season next month, Lidster mentioned having around 60 horses in his string, including 30 two-year-olds. The only horse sent to Carlisle from Anthony Honeyball’s Dorset yard in the last three seasons, Lilith, maintained the trainer’s 100% strike rate at the track by winning under Rex Dingle.
