Nicky Henderson prepares Jonbon for highly anticipated clash at Ascot

The six-time champion trainer is hopeful of having stable jockey Nico de Boinville back in the saddle for the third meeting between the two top chasers. De Boinville broke his collarbone in a fall at Doncaster just before the new year. The score is currently one apiece, with Jonbon victorious by a neck in the Grade 1 Top Novices’ Hurdle at Aintree’s Grand National meeting in 2022. However, El Fabiolo got his revenge when winning last year’s Arkle by five and a half lengths.

There have been several news articles related to horse racing on recent scheduled events. Constitution Hill has been ruled out of the Unibet Hurdle on Trials day due to an unsatisfactory scope. Two top chasers, El Fabiolo and Jonbon, are on course for a showdown at the Clarence House race, with only two other horses entered against them.

In a different article, a writer reflects on their past betting history and how it seemed like a good idea at the time. Daryl Jacob, a jockey, hopes to continue his fine run at Lingfield after a “monumental effort” from Readin Tommy Wrong in a Grade 1 race.

There have been concerns about the cold snap affecting racing schedules, but as of now, the Monday schedule remains unaffected. However, inspections have been called for Tuesday’s jumps meetings to ensure the safety of the horses and jockeys.
