Harry Cobden equals Sean Bowen in jockeys’ title race after winning with smart Champion Bumper hope

Cobden experienced a disappointing start in his initial four races of the day, with his defeats including a 7-5 loss aboard Tahmuras in the opener. However, he secured a victory in the bumper race.

As a result of this success, Betfair reduced Teeshan’s odds to 6-1 for the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham on March 13. Teeshan achieved a seven-length debut victory for Paul Nicholls.

Currently, Cobden is the favorite at 1-3 to secure his first jockey title, a significant turnaround from being 30 winners behind on the morning of December 26. This shift occurred on the day Bowen sustained a knee injury at Aintree.

Bowen is also set to participate in three races at Lingfield on Tuesday. For the best offers, Racing Post provides a comprehensive collection.
