Salver, leading hope for Triumph Hurdle, ready for Haydock on Saturday but uncertain for Cheltenham

The four-year-old recently clinched its third consecutive victory for Moore in Chepstow’s Finale Hurdle in December. The impressive win was by a margin of 21 lengths, earning the horse a Grade 2 title. For its next race, the horse is scheduled to compete in the Victor Ludorum Hurdle, a race which the trainer has triumphed in for the past two years with Porticello and Bo Zenith.

Salver is currently listed at 10-1 odds for the Triumph, trailing the favored Sir Gino. However, even if Salver wins this weekend, there is a possibility of it bypassing Cheltenham in favor of Aintree’s Grand National meeting, or potentially skipping both major fixtures entirely.
