Sean Bowen Secures First Win Since Returning from Injury in Racing Post Event

The jockey Bowen rode for his principal supporter Olly Murphy. During the 1m7½f contest, Bowen kept pace with the free-running Rosenpur, who took an early lead, and took command on Pickanumber down the back straight.

Pickanumber won the race comfortably, nine lengths ahead of market rival Speed Davis. After the race, Bowen commented on his victory before another jockey’s success.

Pickanumber was the 11-10 favorite and won the race, rallying in the closing stages to beat Tom Cody by a neck. The first three payments for a subscription will be charged at £24.98, and the subscription renews at the full monthly price thereafter.
