Arabian Crown, Godolphin’s Derby contender, returns as Sandown’s Friday Flat card fields are disclosed.

The horse is generally 12-1 for the Betfred-sponsored Classic at Epsom in June, but his odds are as short as 8-1 with William Hill. He will be returning for trainer Charlie Appleby with regular rider William Buick in the 1m2f Group 3, where he is the red-hot favorite.

The four-year-old, trained by William Haggas, will be making his first start since being gelded during the winter. He had previously won the Group 3 Gordon Stakes at Glorious Goodwood last year before finishing third in the St Leger.
