The Owen Burrows-trained filly showed promise in her first two races. She won easily over the course and distance on her debut and followed up with a win in Listed company despite a poor start and having to wait for a clear run. However, she couldn’t replicate this form in the Group 3 Dick Poole at Salisbury, finishing fourth. Her eighth-place finish later may have been due to unsuitable ground conditions.

She showed improvement with a fifth-place finish in a Cornwallis at Newmarket, despite facing difficulties during the race. The stiff 5f distance seems to suit her better. With a race full of pace, the strategy is to look for a horse to sit just off it, and Miaharris, with potential for Group company, is expected to make a late move despite a tricky draw in stall eight. It’s noted that a low draw is not as advantageous as it once was.
