Binadham: Mohammed Saleh Bin Laden’s First British Winner Recorded by Owner

In October, Mohammed Saleh Bin Laden, 41, made headlines by spending over £2.5 million on yearlings at Tattersalls. He did this under the name of Salhia Stud Limited, a company in which he is the majority shareholder. Bin Laden’s first runner in Britain was a two-year-old son of Kodiac.

This horse, ridden by Benoit de la Sayette, won by a length and a half from Foro Romano, producing an eyecatching display. Salhia Stud has three horses with De Foy, who stated that they are committed for the long term. Additionally, they have two more horses with the stud, and these are expected to make their appearances in the second half of the season.

The three-year-old horse has shown significant progress since finishing third on his debut at Kempton in August under the late Stefano Cherchi.
