Business student Cameron Sword, at the age of 21, made history as the youngest person to have a share in a Grand National winner. The winning horse, Corach Rambler, was trained by Lucinda Russell. This achievement surpassed the previous record held by Bryan Burrough, who was 23 when Corbiere won in 1983.

Sword is a member of the Ramblers syndicate, which owns the ten-year-old Corach Rambler. He believes that the horse’s recent Gold Cup performance, where it was beaten by Galopin Des Champs but achieved a career-best Racing Post Rating of 169, positions Corach Rambler as a strong 5-1 favorite for the upcoming race. His confidence is supported by the horse’s ability to defy a 13lb higher mark compared to last year.
