French Horse “Il Est Francais” Recovers from Auteuil Disappointment, Aims for Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris Next Month

The horse Il Est Francais made his first start since winning the Kauto Star Novices’ Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day. However, during the race at Auteuil, he did not perform as well as expected, finishing last among five tired finishers. Joint-trainer Noel George reported to the Racing Post that the horse is currently in good condition, having been in the paddock and ridden out for three days since the race.

He mentioned that the horse looks great and is in excellent health.
