Gemma Tutty continues strong form as Hot To Dot wins debut at Pontefract

Tutty, based in North Yorkshire, has recently registered eight winners and is approaching last season’s career-best tally. Reflecting on this success, Tutty expressed satisfaction with the strong start, especially with the ongoing restocking efforts in preparation for the breeze-up season.

She is hopeful for the addition of more promising horses in the near future. One of the recent victories was achieved by a two-year-old daughter of Massaat, ridden by Connor Beasley, who finished ahead of Harswell Dandy at odds of 16-1.

Tutty commended the performance of the horse and Beasley’s excellent ride, acknowledging the uncertainty in comparison to other competitors. She remains optimistic about the potential for further success.

The five-year-old mare, owned by Tutty, continued her winning streak by triumphing at Ripon after her previous victory. This provided trainer Haslam with the second part of an across-the-card treble, following successes at Hexham with Tedtwo and Jerrysback.

Consequently, the trainer has achieved wins with six of the last seven runners. In conclusion, the recent accomplishments of Tutty and her horses highlight a strong start to the season and the potential for further success in the upcoming events.
