Jonbon continues perfect Sandown record with dominant Celebration Chase victory

The horse race saw El Fabiolo finishing in second place ahead of Edwardstone, securing Willie Mullins’ first trainers’ championship in Britain. Jonbon, trained by Nicky Henderson, won the race for the second time in a row, with jockey Nico de Boinville expressing pleasure over the horse’s performance. Henderson also praised Jonbon for his brave display and expressed pride in the horse’s achievements.

El Fabiolo’s rider, Paul Townend, commended the horse for putting in a strong effort to secure the second position, despite a few hurdles during the race. Edwardstone’s jockey, Tom Cannon, stated that the horse delivered a solid performance and was unlucky to miss out on the second place. Elixir De Nutz unfortunately fell at the second-last hurdle, but was reported to be okay after walking into the horse ambulance, as per ITV.
