Mark Walsh Chooses Limerick Lace in Grand National as Riding Plans Finalized for JP McManus’s Five Contenders

Meetingofthewaters finished third in the Ultima Handicap Chase with jockey Walsh in the last race. This time the ride will be taken over by Mullins’ nephew Danny.

In a previous race at Leopardstown in December, Danny steered Meetingofthewaters to a convincing victory in the Paddy Power Chase. Meanwhile, Walsh has opted to ride the Gavin Cromwell-trained Limerick Lace, who is being offered at odds as high as 20-1.
