No Classic Winner Emerged in Trials, but 10-1 Chester Cup Contender Impresses

The recent trials for the City Of Troy, Rosallion, Fallen Angel, and Ylang Ylang did not result in any impressive performances. Considering this, it seems unlikely that they will achieve success in the upcoming events. In contrast, Haatem delivered an exceptional performance in the Craven, establishing himself as a strong contender with odds of 25-1 for the Guineas glory.

However, it was emphasized by both his trainer Richard Hannon and jockey Sean Levey that Rosallion is considered to be superior to him, particularly in training sessions. Overall, the recent trials have presented varied outcomes for the contenders, with Haatem emerging as a potential favorite despite Rosallion’s perceived superiority.
