Sandown’s Stellar Friday Card: Confirmed Runners and Riders as Derby Hope Arabian Crown Makes Return

The William Haggas-trained four-year-old is generally 12-1 for the Betfred-sponsored Classic at Epsom in June, but his odds are as short as 8-1 with William Hill. He will be making his return for trainer Charlie Appleby under regular rider William Buick in the 1m2f Group 3.

He is the red-hot favorite for this race. This will be his first start since being gelded during the winter.

He had a successful run last year, winning the Group 3 Gordon Stakes at Glorious Goodwood and finishing third in the St Leger.
