Teahupoo, Stayers’ Hurdle winner, takes the spotlight as Grand National day entries are announced.

Trained by champion jumps trainer Paul Nicholls, the six-year-old, last seen winning a Grade 1 at Leopardstown in December, has not been sighted since. At the Cheltenham Festival, he finished second in the Gallagher Novices’ Hurdle, chasing home Ballyburn. The Arkle form may be represented in the Maghull Novices’ Chase (5.00) by the placed horses Found A Fifty and Il Etait Temps. However, Gaelic Warrior, who scored at Cheltenham, will not be participating in the event.

Among the 31 entries for the £100,000 William Hill Handicap Chase, Ahoy Senor is listed, while Monmiral, the Pertemps Final winner, is the standout name among the 41 entries for the Bridle Road Handicap Hurdle (1.20). Racing Post offers the best deals, all in one place.
