Thursday’s Tipperary Flat card cancelled due to unsuitable racing surface.

Paddy Graffin, IHRB clerk of the course, has announced that the Flat track at Tipperary has been deemed unfit for racing since entries for Thursday’s fixture opened. Despite some small improvement in recent days, it was not sufficient to bring the track up to racing standards in time for Thursday. Although there has been some drying on the National Hunt track and no issues are anticipated for Tuesday, the Flat track remains unsuitable due to saturation in certain areas. The organization is working with Horse Racing Ireland to potentially reschedule the meeting.
