Peter Savill urges racing professionals to ponder ‘collective action’ against tracks with inadequate prize money.

The PRA, if successful in its aims, is expected to increase annual purses by “£20-30 million,” according to Savill. He stated that meetings have occurred between the PRA and trainers, and mentioned in his letter – a copy of which was seen by the Racing Post – that the organization currently has around 140 members, representing approximately 50% of the horse population.
