Another Potential Upset at Clarence House as Editeur Du Gite Camp Aims for Cheltenham Success

The Grade 1 race has been rescheduled from last Saturday’s lost Ascot card to Cheltenham’s high-profile Trials day fixture a week later. This mirrors the same situation from 12 months ago, when Editeur Du Gite won the race with odds of 14-1, overcoming Edwardstone and Energumene. Now Jonbon is the overwhelming favourite for the race after five horses were declared. However, the connections are aware of the tough challenge they face, especially against the impressive Tingle Creek winner. Jonbon has only been beaten by brilliant stablemate Constitution Hill and El Fabiolo, making the competition fierce.
