Tall jockey with big aspirations eyeing Cheltenham Festival ride on Willie Mullins’ Supreme contender

Costello comes from a family with strong connections to the horse racing industry. He is the son of Marie and Tony, who own Asian Master, and the grandson of Tom, who has sourced successful horses such as Best Mate, One Man, and Imperial Call. He recently rode a seven-year-old horse trained by Willie Mullins and secured his second win of the season. After the race, spectators at Navan were surprised by Costello’s height, with even Mullins suggesting that he might be taller than he appears.
