Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy win as Gerri Colombe narrowly beats Ahoy Senor in thrilling Bowl race.

The finish of the race was a battle between Gerri Colombe and Ahoy Senor, both top contenders. The race was exciting as six of the seven runners were still in contention at three fences to go. At the penultimate fence, six horses—Bravemansgame, Ahoy Senor, Gerri Colombe, Corbetts Cross, and Gentlemansgame—jumped almost simultaneously.

Jockey Kennedy, representing owner Brian Acheson, mentioned that he wasn’t entirely satisfied with his position in the race but was within his comfort zone. He credited the horse for being tough and getting the job done. The tough conditions of the Gold Cup may have affected the horse’s performance, but he was able to do what was necessary to secure the win.
